Machine introduction

Fiber laser cutting machine is a state-of-the-art industrial cutting equipment that uses fiber laser technology to process various materials with high precision, efficiency, and stability. Unlike traditional cutting methods (such as plasma cutting, flame cutting, and shearing), it relies on a high-energy fiber laser beam to melt, vaporize, or blow away the material, achieving clean, smooth, and accurate cutting results. It has become an indispensable core equipment in modern manufacturing, widely used in metal processing, sheet metal fabrication, and other fields.

Main Advantages

Compared with traditional cutting equipment, fiber laser cutting machines have obvious advantages in performance, cost, and applicability:
  1. High Precision & Quality: The laser beam is focused into a small spot, resulting in a narrow kerf (usually 0.1-0.3mm) and smooth cutting surface, with no burrs, no deformation, and no need for secondary processing (such as grinding), which greatly improves product quality and production efficiency.
  2. High Cutting Speed: The cutting speed is 2-3 times that of CO₂ laser cutting machines and 5-10 times that of plasma cutting machines of the same power. For example, a 1000W fiber laser cutting machine can cut 1mm carbon steel at a speed of up to 10m/min, significantly shortening the production cycle.
  3. Energy Saving & Low Operating Cost: The photoelectric conversion efficiency of fiber lasers is as high as 30-40% (far higher than 10-15% of CO₂ lasers), which saves a lot of electricity. In addition, fiber lasers do not require laser gas (such as CO₂, He) or regular replacement of reflecting mirrors, and the consumables (such as cutting nozzles, lenses) have a long service life, reducing operating costs by 50% or more compared to traditional equipment.
  4. Stable Performance & Long Service Life: The fiber laser source has a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours (2-3 times that of CO₂ lasers), and the mechanical structure is stable, with low failure rate and easy maintenance. It can work continuously for 24 hours, adapting to mass production needs.
  5. Wide Applicability: It can cut various metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, galvanized steel, and other non-ferrous metals. It is also suitable for cutting different shapes (such as straight lines, curves, holes, and complex patterns) and thin to thick plates, meeting the needs of different industries.
  6. Compact & Safe: The fiber laser cutting machine has a small footprint (no need for a large laser room like CO₂ lasers) and can be placed in a general workshop. Most models are equipped with a full enclosure and safety interlock device, which prevents laser radiation and ensures operator safety.
